As part of the Junior Wardens partnership, our Y6 classes went to visit Safety Works in order to     improve their knowledge of antisocial behaviour, intimidation, first aid and fire safety. Throughout the afternoon, they were introduced to members of the police, St John’s Ambulance and the fire service. Safety Works is set up like a mini      Newcastle with shops, roads and even the Metro!  Each crew  member walked the children through a different scenario which helped them to improve their  awareness and understanding of safety. It was a fantastic experience and the children already feel more confident.
