In their art lesson this week, Year 2 have been thinking about the textures in Van Gogh’s ‘Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer’.  They each made a collage to represent the different textures that they found in the painting.  They used some interesting materials such as lentils and rice which helped them to explore the textures in an unusual way.
