Great First Week Using Seesaw
It has been wonderful to see so many children sharing their fantastic homework with class teachers through Seesaw this week! Children have also been busy using Seesaw in their lessons to do the following things:
- Capturing photos of the algorithm codes that they have created,
- Videoing new skills in PE,
- Recording themselves reading their own poems.
As children continue to access Seesaw both at home and in school, they will become more confident and proficient at using the system. They will also be learning vital life skills, such as communication. When they are working with Seesaw from home, please make sure that they are using their home account and not their school account.
It is vital that all families are able to access Seesaw; in the event of your child needing to isolate for any reason, Seesaw will be used to set work and offer feedback and support. If you haven’t yet logged in, please see the log in information which was sent home in your child’s book bag last week. All you need to do is download the Seesaw Class app onto a phone or tablet, or access it through the website: https://web.seesaw.me/. If you are having any problems accessing the system, please send an email to Parents@throckleyprim.newcastle.sch.uk and we will work with you to ensure that you can login.
