Year 6 had a lovely time at Hawkhirst.  This residential trip is always a fantastic opportunity for the children and staff to get to know each other before the children embark on their final year at Throckley Primary School.  As well as the children learning how to make their own beds (you're welcome!), they participated in some outdoor learning and adventure activities which helped them to develop self-confidence and to discover the amazing things that they are capable of doing.   Their attitudes and behaviour were exemplary when they were away and we're all very proud of how they did during the visit.
