This week our Year 5 classes have had the opportunity to learn to cycle safely out in the community.  Level 2 Bikeability builds on their learning from Level 1 and gives them the skills and confidence to do  the following:  prepare for on-road cycling, start and finish an on-road journey, recognise typical hazards, let others know what they are about to do, know where to ride on the road and pass parked vehicles on side roads.  These children now know how to ride their bikes safely in their own neighbourhood.
