Last week, as part of our Science and Design Technology Curriculum, Year 6 were visited by an Electronic Engineer from Kratos Communications Ltd. The children learned about the different kinds of Engineers needed for projects such as satellites and antennas and the careers that are available for Engineers in all types of industries. After this, Year 6 researched Georg Ohm and his work around resistance before applying their knowledge to design and create a fully-functional steady-hand game. Thank you Kratos and thank you John for all of your hard work and help!
