Our School Council is working with the Eco Society at Newcastle University to improve our school allotment so that it is ready for planting in the Spring. School Council had a look around the allotment and realised that the first thing it needed was a big tidy! The Eco Society came into school last Saturday and spent several hours weeding, digging and clearing out the greenhouse. The allotment now looks so much better! School Council are busy gathering ideas from all of the classes about what they would like to see in the allotment. They will be sharing these ideas with the Eco Society who will use them to make the allotment a great place for children of all ages.
