We are very proud of our PE and sport provision at Throckley Primary School.  A dedicated team of teachers and support staff (Miss Thorpe, Mr Elliott, Mr Meyer and Mrs Cookson) work to ensure that the children have fantastic PE lessons and extra-curricular opportunities for participation and competition in a wide variety of sports.  Our school ensures that all children from Acorns to Year 6 have two active 60 minute lessons of PE per week plus 30 minutes of exercise daily through activities on the yard such as Golden Mile, football or basketball.  As part of the Greenwich Hospital housing development, our outdoor sport facilities have been expanded and improved.  This will enable us to   continue to improve the confidence, health and fitness of all of the children who attend our school.
