After learning about Mayan hieroglyphics, Y5 emulated their style in order to design their own.  The      children then used cardboard and string to create their own Mayan print blocks which they then painted and used to block print their final piece of artwork. The children also used a different type of print block made from polystyrene and acrylic paints. They drew and pierced their polystyrene with clay tools and then painted their print printing blocks using acrylic paint and rollers.
