Our Y5 & Y6 Football and Netball teams were in action this week.  The netball team attended the Newcastle finals.  They earned their place in finals by competing against 30 other teams in the city!  They played 3 matches, with two losses and one draw.  The football team played their next round in the Duffy League against 3 other teams.  They lost one match and drew the other two.  They will be competing throughout the spring in this league and at other competitions.  Mr Elliott and Mr Meyer were very proud of all of the children who took part in these sporting events.  They showed resilience and team work and did a great job of representing Throckley Primary School.
