Anti-cyberbullying workshops with GEM Education
s part of Anti-bullying/E-safety Day, Years 2 & 5 have worked with a specialist IT teacher from GEM Education to create anti-cyberbullying posters using augmented reality. After watching an age-appropriate video about cyberbullying, the children discussed their top tips for staying safe online. They then used the Clips app to design a video using text, images and voice tools to share those top tips with everyone at school. They created a poster in pairs on paper, which comes to life through an HP reveal app, and plays their e-safety video. Now, when you scan the posters with an iPad, the videos will automatically play and help us all to remember what we can do to prevent cyberbullying. GEM Education will be delivering workshops in other year groups in the near future.
