Year 1 have been looking at the work of Andy Goldsworthy. He is a famous artist who only uses natural materials to make sculptures and we studied some of his sculptures for inspiration for our own works of art.  

On a beautiful autumn day, we went on a 'nature hunt' around the school grounds to find natural materials.  We then used those materials to work in pairs to make our own sculptures.  We had so much fun and really enjoyed taking our learning outdoors. Take a look at some of our amazing creations...."
