Reception started spooky writing week with a bang by making potions! Miss McGregor and Mr Metcalf needed apprentices (with witch and wizard hats!). To begin with they filled a glass 1/4 full of water, added food colouring and sparkles then filled the rest of the glass up with vegetable oil.  Then we added a vitamin C tablet and said the magic words!
