Throckley Primary has had a wonderful time embracing all things international as part of Express Yourself - the North East Festival of Languages!  The children in Reception enjoyed a French puppet show led by Nathalie Paris and featuring some memorable maths. Year 3 chose to      celebrate their favourite book, ‘Toutes les Couleurs!’, by retelling the story to each other using their very own word bank. Year 4 followed the exploits of the inhabitants of the Isle of Paradise, vividly brought to life by Théâtre Sans Frontières (an award-winning international touring theatre company based in Tynedale, Northumberland). They learned a new song extoling the foods they love, and then created a poster reaching out in the languages spoken in the North East.  Fantastique!
