Year 6G - Science - Investigating complete and incomplete circuits using concrete resources.

In Year 6, we have been investigating electricity as part of our Science topic. We have looked at different electrical circuits and the circuit symbols used to depict them. On top of this, we recreated circuits from their conventional circuit diagrams and tested whether or not they functioned. We were able to explain why and how the different circuits weren’t working and were able to explain how to fix them. As well as this, we were able to order different circuits, comparing how the number of bulbs and the voltage of the batteries changed the brightness of the output! Super science skills from across the whole ‘Working Scientifically’ curriculum. Well done, Year 6!
