Science - Classifying.

What makes us alive? In science, we have been investigating living things and considering what makes them living. Thanks to MRS GREN (ask your children what the acronym stands for), we were able to distinguish what helped us live and more importantly why they are important. In small groups, we were then given a range of fruit, vegetables and sweets and we began to come up with questions that help us to classify them into groups – they were a delicious treat afterwards too! Once we had practised this skill, we then applied it to a range of animals in zoos. We are certainly future taxonomists!
