Remembrance Art.

Year 6 came together to create a watercolour inspired by the poem “In Flanders Fields.” They were shown how to use only one dab of colour and then use water to thin it down across the page, creating a striated effect. Starting with the sky, they went on to blend the horizon with green and brown paint. Using lines of different lengths to suggest perspective, Year 6 added bold dabs of red paint in overlapping circles to create the poppies in the field.
