History - Using different historial artefacts to draw inferences about the Maya people and their lifestyles.

As part of our Ancient Maya study, Year 6 have been looking at different sources of historical evidence and discussing what can be found out from different source types. We spent a lesson using evidence to research Maya beliefs and their Gods and then looked at a range of source types, including: artefacts, diaries, sculpture, letters, history textbooks etc. to come up with our own inferences about what it was like to be alive in the Maya times.
