Acceptable User Agreement
Acceptable User Agreements
At Throckley Primary School, we have woven our Acceptable User Agreement into our curriculum for children. We also integrate it into our training plan for staff and governors, and into induction for visitors and students.
The Acceptable User Agreement is on display in all classrooms in the school. Each point from the agreement is studied and is supported with key discussion points. This ensures that all children in the class are aware of the agreement they are signing and understand each of the points.
The Acceptable User Agreements can then be used to support meaningful conversations should there be incidents of non-compliance in school or reports outside of school.
Online Safety Checklists
All of our technology storage is labelled with checkpoints to remind children of the role they play when maintaining online safety and respect for resources. These checkpoints are referred back to each time the children use the equipment across the curriculum.
