Volcano Debate in Year 4B

Children held a debate to discuss whether or not people should be allowed to live near volcanoes. We tried  to make it as close to a House of Commons debate as possible by standing up when we wanted to make a point and shouting "Here, Here!" when we agreed. Later this week, the children will be writing a discursive argument outlining both sides of the debate.
