Leaplish Bird Of Prey Centre

26th May 2016

As part of their science topic on animals, Miss Sewell’s and Ms Wright’s classes spent a full day at the Leaplish Bird of Prey Centre at Kielder.  The centre is in a beautiful location and provided wonderful opportunities for the children to interact with the wildlife.  They got to hold a variety of owls and other birds of prey.  They were able to feed baby owls and adult birds and watch the birds flying and landing.  They also had their lunch in a lovely garden with the Kielder scenery all around them.  Thank you to our parent helpers and to Leaplish for a fantastic day!
